Satan The Thief

John 10:10:  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:  I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

How fitting it is for Jesus to refer to Satan as “the thief.”  Satan will do his dead level best to rob you of anything and everything that he possibly can.  The Bible said that he was a murderer from the beginning.  His sole delight is to forever do ill.  As a roaring lion walks to and fro seeking his prey, Satan is seeking potential victims constantly.  That’s why me must always be vigilant, watching out and guarding against the attacks of Satan.

The good news is that Jesus came to give life abundantly.  Because of this, we do not have to live our lives as defeated victims of the devil.  Through Jesus Christ we can have complete victory 365 days a year.  Even when you feel like you’re losing the battle, Jesus has already won the war for all of those who have trusted in Him.

If you have never accepted Christ as your Savior and Lord.  Why don’t you trust Him by faith, repent of your sins, and begin a new life this very day?  God loves you, and He doesn’t want you to perish and fall victim to the thief.  Jesus is the answer.

Love In Christ,

Pastor Vern
